These are studies on topographies made with diverse printmaking techniques. Functioning separately and together, they constitute a series of experiments with local dirt and vegetation, pigments, fabric scraps, different kinds of Japanese paper and blind embossments from used solar plates. These prints are imagined artifacts and fragments from my wanderings in the Santa Monica Mountains after a wild fire.
